How 'bout the ME/NH (upper New Englend) area? The one you mentioned is a little far for me... Thanks!

We hold the ME/NH Area Conference in the fall. This year, it'll be in November. When we get details, I'll post them here. It's likely to be Dover, NH area. Will that be too far?

It's almost the same distance as the one in Chelmsford. Dover's maybe an hour closer than Chelmsford. Nothing, really, is close to us!!! We're way up in the north forty.

It's true! Some people make the trip the day/night before, stay in a nearby hotel, then attend the conference the next day. Staying the next night depends on the trip back. Maybe you could break it up and stay somewhere along the way? Do you have any family between here and there? You could make it a mini family vacation or try to carpool with someone (maybe from the Bangor or Presque Isle Group) or make the trip alone (w/kiddos ) and hook up with a roommate to help with hotel expenses.
I understand about the distance, though. It's a big trip no matter how you slice it. Some kiddos simply travel better than others. And gas prices -- !

It might not be too late! There is usually walk-in registration available. Or come and visit us in Maine/NH in November or maybe the CT Area Conference in early April? FMI: http://www.llleus.org/ACf/Ct.html

    Hope this helps!
