Default Plugged duct or Mastitis or?

till now I've exclusively BF my 7 weeks old but I'm starting work - part-time - pretty soon so yesterday I decided to start my BM bank. I hand pumped all day yesterday, both breasts and squeezed out about 100ml. Then this morning my L Breast was incredibly hard and tender on one side of it. I hand pumped that breast and got 120ml in 20mns! But since then that breast is still tender, I am really tired and have fever - which leads me to beleive in a plugged duct - except that milk does come out of that duct easily, my DS fed on it and no probl getting milk from it. Can milk still flow easily out of a plugged duct? do I have something else? I know it's not thrush (been there, done that)

Have any lumps or tender spots? If accompanied by a fever or malaise I suggest placing an immediate call in to your dr. mastitis can be excruciating and imo needs lightning quick response.

There are many ducts in a breast, so yes, you will still get adequate milk when there is a blocked duct. The fever and tiredness would lead me to think mastitis. What about any redness in the breast?

No redness, no lump, just very tender on one side with a mild fever that's just about knocked me out today. I'm also very thirsty.
