    Default Down Syndrome nursing

We are going to adopt a Down's Syndrome baby girl soon. I need some help from any Moms that have nursed a Down's Syndrome infant so that I have a good idea of what I need to be ready for. I am inducing lactation and working on that, too. (I am an experienced nursing Mom as I nursed 5 of our 7 children. I induced to nurse our 5th child, who came home at 3 months.)
    Thanks,
    hanbokmom

Here is a link to breast feeding a baby with Down's Syndrome : http://www.llli.org/FAQ/down.html
There are some really good threads already in place on this forum on the topic of hypotonia (worth searching) which may give you really detailed information about what to expect and some of the resolutions.
How is the induced lactation coming along for you?

    Congrats on your newest addition!

You might find the information in this thread helpfu as it pertains to hypotonia (low muscle tone) and breastfeeding:
