    Default Scared to feed solids

I am scared of feeding solids to dd2. I love bf more than I expected. I feed her about one 4oz jar a day (2 different meals) and let her nurse on demand (about 7 times 10min each). I can not remember for the life of me how much I fed dd1 and ds at 6months. I do not like give her cereal she just does not enjoy as much as her jar foods.

Am I hurting her by not feeding her more food. I do not see my ped until 3/11 of course I am going to call her for help.

Ds ~ Xander 3yrs aka Xaxu
    Dd2 ~ Bailie 1yr aka Dede

    Still going 14months later.

You're not hurting her by giving her mostly bm - not at all -
Some babies don't get solids until 9-12 mo sometimes by their own choice - sometimes for medical reasons. Either way they thrive on bm alone

Depending on what type of pedi you have - s/he may 'insist' you start solids or allow you to decide for yourself and whats good for you and her. Let us know what she says when you do go
