    Question Hind Milk?

What exactly is it and how do I know my son is getting it?

It is the fattier, more nutricious milk that comes after let-down and then with each additional let-down (you may have two or three that you don't even feel), your LO will be getting more fat. That's why it's important to let your LO eat as long as he wants on one side before switching...to make sure he's getting the good stuff HTH!!

Sorry, I just answered your first question...I think you'll know he's getting it if you allow him "empty" one side before switching to the other. I usually let DD eat on one side until she falls asleep or lets go. Then I burp her and offer the other side. I then start on that side again at the next feeding. That way, I know she's finishing one before I give her the other. Also, it's okay if your son just eats away on one side and is too full for the other side.

Another indicator (correct me if I'm wrong people) is that their poop will be like normal BF baby poop

oh that's right, I knew that and forgot LOL the part of what it is...

Now I NEVER feel my let downs, is it because I'm big breasted? The only time I feel anythign is when my nippels tingel, which is always around the time he is supposed to eat!

Is the "seedy" part of his poop the proof he's got the hind milk in him? THe reason why I ask is that, my son can nurse on ONE side for 30 mins and fall asleep and let it slip out and when I squeez my nipple milk still comes out.

    Thanks in advanced!!!

It's fine if you can still get milk out even if he is finished eating. It really pretty impossible to actually "empty" a breast Just make sure you aren't taking him off, but letting him finish
