    Default gagging/throwing up while eating

DS is 9 months. For the past two days, he has been gagging on his solids, coughing a bit and then throwing up. This only happens as he is eating. I'm not sure what's going on, but I am wondering if it has to do with the chunkier food I have been giving him. He has no fever or other signs of a problem. Anyone else have a similar situation? Thanks!

BTW, he is also teething and has a lot of drool.

    Self feeding or spoon feeding?

IMO gagging is usually a sign that LO isn't ready yet, so it may be the texture.

I'm spoon feeding. He feeds himself rice crispies though. This hadn't happened before we moved to the chunkier texture, so I'm guess this has something to do with it.

    Thanks.

Perhaps try letting him self feed - that way LO usually have more control of what gets in their mouth and how much.
