    Default Banana

Today, I gave DS half a banana and I sat there with him while he played with it and chewed on it. I swept some out of his mouth when I thought he had taken too big of a bite, a couple of times. But, I don't think I even had to do that, because he was chewing and he even spit some out when it was too big of a bite for him. I gave him the chance to just do what he wanted and it worked out fine. He gagged a little, but kept putting it back in his mouth. He is about 7 1/2 months now. I have been avoiding solids as much as possible, but others have given him some baby food when I didn't know about it. I am so happy and proud of my little man and myself.
