Cool How much milk do I make?

I was reading on here somewhere, and found a post that said you won't pump the same amount as the baby gets. My question is, do I pump more, or less? Is he getting more or less? I usually can pump 3 oz in a sitting, usually while he's nursing on the other side (may as well do something with that leaky breast). So is he getting more or less than 2-3 oz?

Babies are better at getting milk out than pumps are. He is getting more than you can pump.

Your baby is MUCH more efficient than a pump. However, you will get more from your pump if you're pumping while your LO is nursing on the other side, which you are doing. 3oz is a good output from 1 breast!
