    Default Constipation and Breastfeeding

If I understand correctly an exclusively breastfed baby can not be constipated, correct?

I watch a 3 month old LO who hasn't had a BM since Wed/Thursday. Is this something to worry about?

It's pretty rare to have a bf baby get actual constipation. A few days to a week or so is within a healthy normal range for bf babies. When they have no solids in their diet and are on an exclusive bm diet there is little waste. You will see a few days or more and then be prepared for one heck of a poopy diaper. We called them flooders.

Yup, be ready for the mother load! Before starting solids, my ds only went once per week, if not week and a half.
