    Default Milk supply

    Hello,

I am new to this forum idea. My husband loves the forums he is involved in, so I thought I would try it.
I have a 3 year old, and a 2 week old. I know breast feeding works on a supply and demand situation, and your body gets used to how much milk you need to produce. What I don't know is can your body adapt to the milk supply needed by 2 weeks after delivery? I just remember with my first child my breasts were full all the time for weeks. If you have any help for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. If your baby was fed early and often, and your baby was latched on well, it is absolutely possible that your supply could regulate to your baby's needs by two weeks.

    And welcome to the forums!
