    Default Timing introducing the bottle

With my first baby, I was home full-time and could not get him to take a bottle of my milk at all. I am due in November this time, but I am working full-time now. When should I start introducing a bottle of my milk? Two weeks, four weeks, six weeks?

    Any help is appreciated!

Anytime after four weeks. That gives the baby time to get your milk supply right to meet her needs, let's her get used to WORKING for it and is far enough in as to not cause nipple confusion! I started pumping a bottle a day at five weeks. We call those "My OZs of Freedom!" Let's DH/Grandma bond/feed and allows you to get out of the house!

I did the same as DJ'sMom and then let my DH give a bottle couple of times a week as well. It got my DS used to the bottle, but kept him from getting nipple confusion. Good luck with work. I went back full-time at 15 weeks. It's not easy, but gets easier each day - and the time you have when you get home is just priceless!
