Default avocado, banana, egg white v. yolk?

I've seen many posts on avocado and bananas being babies first foods? Is there a reason for that? Also, why are egg yolks ok early on, but not egg whites?

    The whites are more allergenic.

The avocado because it's easy for them to eat (as are bananas) and the avo's are packed with good fats and nutrients.

Here's a link with other suggestions regarding first foods.
Here's one with fat/calorie info. (note the avocado )
