    Default Spinach, lentils and meat?

I wonder if anyone has introuced spinach? My lo is 7 1/2 months and we are looking for a new veg to try. She has had sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, and peas. Also what about lentils? Is it too early? How about meat? What is best for a first?
    Thanks

I'm interested in the responses about spinach and lentils; we haven't tried those yet. We started with turkey when he was 8 months old, and he loved it. Now he eats chicken, turkey, and beef with no problem. I'm not sure if this relates to the spinach question, but Thomas loves turnip greens.

That's what we had for dinner last night. Lentil and spinach soup. I introduced it at around 7 months, and they LOVED it.

Tonight, we had split pea soup. Yummy!!

Our first meat was chicken, also at around 7 months.

This is a very good question (you're right only moms). DS was pooping green and he was eating both avocados and bananas. I thought we were having OS problems but maybe it was just the solids
I'm restarting solids today (avocado) and I'll let you know the end result

We've done steamed pureed spinach and DS loves it! I actually cooked beef and spinach in the crockpot all day and then pureed it. Its good on its own but much better mixed with sweet potatoes or carrots!

Thanks ladies. I am going shopping to Saturday to the organic market and I will pick up some new things for lo to try.

I will look for the link about this, but lentils are apparently in the peanut family, so I'm not sure about when to give them.
