I'm not sure what the signs are of having an OALD but my daughter after about 2-3 minutes of being latched on will unlatch and seems as though she is 'taking a breather'. She swallows and then after a moment will latch on again, this process happens a few times before she'll finally remain latched on for a good 15-20 minutes. Am I right thinking I have an OALD?

Might be... but if she seems happy otherwise, and not distressed by it, she has managed to cope with it and all is well

    Hello and ,

Check out the sticky at the top of this forum. There is a lot of information there to help you determine whether or not you are dealing with OALD/oversupply. Feel free to ask any questions you need to! There are a lot of great ladies here who would be happy to share their experiences with you!
