I had a quick question. If a breast feeding mom contacts a disease such as fever etc which better not be trasnfered trhough baby throughher milk (means cant feed baby those few days) what is the option so meanwhile wont lose supply

pump and throw away and give formula through bottle for baby...?

    any other options?

    Thanks

    Oh, you can/should keep nursing.

Interetsingly, I'm not sure DS has ever caught a cold from me (which makes sense, because the antibodies would be in the milk). I, however, have caught several colds from him LOL! Interestingly, HIS illnesses have always been shorter and milder than when I catch the same bug. Must be the breastmilk!
