    Default Squirming while nursing

My 7 week old son has just recently started squirming while i am nursing from my left breast. He squirms and constantly pulls on the nipple, but never lets it go. I have tried burping him, and changing positions and this has not helped. When i nurse him i alternate the beginning breast each feeding, and he only squirms on the right one. help?

Does he squirm at every feeding just certain times of day?

My son did this. I never figured out what it was, but my guess was that he was just distracted. His curiosity was getting the best of him. For a while I worried about it...

    "Is it my milk supply?"

    "Is he okay?"

"Is this normal for him to do?"

As it turned out, he was just a wiggle-worm!

Try taking away or turning off anything that could pull his attention away from you. This was the advice my LC gave me.
