    Question Keeping the flow going!

I am returning to work tomorrow and plan to pump while I am there every three hours or so. My question is this...I have to leave for work each day at 6:15 AM. I am torn between getting my daughter up at 5AM to bf before work or just pump before I leave. Many times she doesn't feed on both sides, so I will probably have to pump one side anyway. I just don't want my supply to diminish if I miss bfing her in the AM. Will missing that early feed do much damage?

I don't know if it will damage supply, but it might be a good bonding time for the two of you. I feed dd before I go to work--it also ensures that I spend less time with the pump and more time with dd. I have been pumping for 5 months, 2-3 times a day and although I will continue, I am tired of it. I would much rather bf than pump. I guess it just depends on your preference.
