    Default Meats

So DS is now eating 3+ solid meals at once, but he will NOT eat meat of any kind lately. I've been trying to sneak it into quesadillas or soups and he'll eat around it or spit it out. I'm worried he's going to be missing out on important things he needs by not eating it at all. I know there are alternatives but I don't know what to give him to replace the meat. Any help?

Bean and rice make perfect protein. Any where there is meat and DJ doesn't want it or I don't want him to have it I sub in beans.

    Way too lazy for formula

This is just what Coopers Dr told us today, but she said 1-3 tablespoons of protein which could be meat, beans, eggs, peanut butter...it doesnt have to be meat, like Shelly said. Dont worry, Xander seems to be a pretty good eater, he will get his protein from other non-meat foods for a while! There will probably be a phase where he wants only meat, and nothing else! Good luck!

Thanks. Maybe we'll try beans again, see if he'll eat them yet .
