    Default spit-up

Is it normal for breast-fed babies' spit-up to resemble curdled milk? My daughter is 5 days old, she spits up both 'normally', but occasionally her spit up will look like the aforementioned curdled milk. Is this normal? Just being a overly-paranoid new mommy...

I think I remember that happening from the fluid DS was still clearing from his respiratory system.

DS spits up milk that looks curdled all the time. He is 6 mos old now, it is very normal.

I'm pretty sure it's normal. My dd's spit-up looks like that when it's "older" milk...not when she's just eaten, probably b/c she's already started digesting it.

If it's a bit curdled I believe it's just older milk that your LO has begun to digest. It's really no big deal from my understanding.

Yes. Haley was a huge spitter in the early months, and it was definitely sometimes curdled. Doesn't it smell lovely?
I love my kids. I care for them accordingly. What more can I say?
