    Default Avacados???

Ok so how do you feed them. I bought one yesterday. I sliced it and it was really soft and I just spoon fed him. He loved it, but I notice when you get down to the skin it becomes a darker green. when are you suppose to stop? I know when you have a watermelon you stop when the color changes? I don't eat them and I have no idea. Can you put the rest in the fridge? I knwo this might sound stupid, but I never had them before and my lo seems to love them!!!

you can put it in the frige..
leave the pit in and it will last longer.
cover it with wrap of foil.
some will turn brown but its still good.

You can also squirt a little lemon or lime juice on the part that is in contact with the air to prevent browning. Or, if you have already mushed it up, just put plastic wrap over the top and push it down so it's touching the avocado mush. If there's no air in between, then it won't turn brown.

before DS was on solids I would put some lemon juice on them to keep for longer, but not now - no citrus before 12 months.

You can eat them right to the skin, even the bit that's greener.
