Default Question about leaving baby and milk

I will need to be away from my ds for over 10 hours. I have plenty of frozen milk. Should I thaw the milk and put it in bottles for the sitter? Or should I let her thaw it?

I think I would thaw it out, and then leave good writen down instrutions on how to serve the bottle.
    good luck!

I think it totally depends on who the caregiver is. I have one caregiver who I can leave the frozen milk in bags and she can defrost as needed with no problem, but I have another who if I don't fill the bottles and tell her exactly how much to give when, she either wastes milk or feeds DS way too much.

If this is your first time away, I'd have it all prepared with instructions as the last post says, but if it's someone you trust, don't defrost it all at the start so that you don't end up wasting it. Good luck!

ps - a quick defrost and heat up is easy if you just run it under really hot water! It takes no time at all!
