I used to have quite a painful letdown, almost pins and needles moving from my armpit, down my breast into the nipple, but the older DS gets, the less I am feeling it now. Weird!

i nursed 2 babies (well pump mostly for 2nd son) and felt no let down- ever... well maybe in the very beginning with 2nd son when i was pumping exclusively for him... but if it was let down it was very very faint.

i nursed my dd for a little over a year and i only remember feeling the let down of milk a handful of times. and the times that i did feel it were in the first couple months when my supply was extremely abundant.

i have been nursing dd for almost a year now and i have NEVER felt a let down. i pumped 2x at work until late novemeber and never felt it then either.
i wouldnt worry about not feeling the let down.

and, yes, thirst is not the word for when you need water during nursing. i always felt really desperate for water. and, i think the tired thing is from the hormones that are released when you nurse...but i could be wrong.

since i have been nursing i have been addicted to grape juice. i cannot get enough. i can drink 96oz in a day. i crave it. has anyone else had something like this happen?

When BFing your body releases hormones that aid in relaxation. That's part of why nursing can be such a nice, quiet, peaceful experience for busy mamas.
I love my kids. I care for them accordingly. What more can I say?

I don't really feel it. If it wasn't bc of my lo unlatching when one is happening I would've thought they didn't exist

I started to feel it after 3.5 - 4 months. At first, it was like a tingle, like you can feel your boob swell up a bit. Then it became like a faint achey-feeling. I notice it, but just for a second.

I only notice it occassionally, its very faint. It definitely happens because DS's sucking changes.

With DD I pumped sometimes, and would really notice it then, it felt like pins and needles. But I never felt it when nursing her, only when I pumped.
