Default Anyone else not feel their let down???

I can't be the only one (I'm hoping, anyway).

I don't feel my let down at all. I get a feeling of excessive thirst when DD first latches on, and when she was a newbie I had a feeling of complete exhaustion for a minute or two when she latched.

    Just curious, anyone else?

It took me several weeks to feel a let down. When I first delivered I got really tired while she was nursing..must be the hormones released or something. The thirst thing hasn't gone away for me. I have to keep something to drink right by me when I feed Natalie.

I use to not be able to feel it, but when we first started my eye's would get so heavy for the 1st minute or 2. You're not alone

It's normal. I didn't feel it for a month or so, then it was really strong. Now I don't feel it every time and try not to think about it too much!

I didn't feel it at all for the first few months. Now I feel it almost all the time. Everyone's different, but it's totally normal.

My LO is 16 months I have never felt the let down either. In the first few months I had to have a bottle of water by my bed so when she nursed at night I could drink.... I was very thirsty.

I didn't start feeling it until I started pumping at work at about 3 months. After that I felt it most of the time but always very faintly and just for a few seconds.

I have never felt it in the five months I've been breastfeeding. I actually didn't know that you COULD feel it.
