I don't know if this is "normal" or not, but Thomas usually has 1-2 three-to-four-ounce bottles while I'm at work. It usually goes something like this:
    6:30 am-ish nurse
    8:30 ish breakfast
    9:15 ish 3 to 4 ounces EBM
    12 pm nurse
    (Usually a long afternoon nap)
    3:30 ish 3 to 4 ounces
    5 pm or so, nurse

The variation is normally in the afternoon; sometimes he sleeps a couple of hours, sometimes several. If he sleeps through, then he just gets the morning bottle.

I don't think I was much help. Sorry.

My LO pretty consistently took 1 to 1.5 oz EBM for every hour that he was away from me.

He was in day care for 8 hours - so this was 8 to 12 oz EBM.

I'd nurse right before leaving the house, and as soon as we got home.

The amount didn't change as DS got older - just the amount that he took at a time and the frequency of bottles. He started at day care at 3 mo taking about 2 oz at a time and getting bottles pretty frequently. I think that at 9 mo he was typically taking 5 oz or so at a time and only 2 bottles total.

My lo is 10 months now, but her intake of EBM at dc has not changed in a few months. She takes 16 oz. in 8 hrs that I'm away from her (4, 4-oz. bottles).
