It was an allergic reaction to penicillan (she was on amoxycillan for an ear infection). I guess these things can come up anytime - she's been on amoxycillan before with no problems. I'd have rather she had chicken pox for sure

yeah that's scary...chicken poxs not so scary!
Ive talked to lots of moms about it and only know one mom personaly whos child had to be addmited to the hopital and he was older 5-6..
the doctors nearly killed him, didn't have anything to do with the chicken pox.

^ Hopefully they've been exposed and just aren't getting outward symptoms of it. Wouldn't that be nice?

Makayla is immune and never had one spot...she only have a high (102.8) fever for 3 days. Got her titers checked at when she got her school physical and she's got "full immunity".

Audrey's doing great - the rash is almost completely gone and she's tolerating the zithromax (alternative antibiotic because her ear infection was not gone). Thanks for asking!

It would be lovely!! Archie did actually have all the symtpoms apart from the spots the last time it came round - he did have ONE little spot on his bum!! Maybe? Guess we'll just watch and wait!!

Amy, so glad Audrey is getting better.
