    Default Question

My DD was hospitalized over the weekend because she broke her femur. I was told by the ped on call that I needed to start giving her more vitamins because bm was vitamin deficient. She said it did not contain vitamins A, B, C, or D. What would be the point to bf if it is so lacking in these vitamins? I believe she is wrong, but want some input from others. Any reference resources?

That's what I thought too. That dr called CPS on me and my DH because they said her injury couldn't have happened from a fall. I think she was just trying to find more reasons to turn us in. People like that make me mad.

from what i understand, D is the only vitamin lacking in BM, but they get that from the sunlight.

a lot of docs don't seem to know much about BF.
