Exclamation HELP! suddenly dropped milk output on right breast

My DS is 6.5 months old, a great night nurser though (reverse cycling). He refuses to take bottles (all of a sudden) when I'm at work and would wait for me until i get home from work to nurse about 4 pm. i still pump regularly when I'm at work (9 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm).

I noticed that this week my milk supply on my right breast has decreased. It really has not been producing much compared to my L breast (used to be 1 - 2 oz), but now I could barely get an ounce.

What can I do to increase it back to normal output? I already am taking fenugreek. Thank you. any opinion will be appreciated.

Did it decrease suddenly? Was your LO nursing less on this side recently? If your LO is nursing less on this side then that might be the reason.
To keep up the milk supply, pump on this side while your LO is nursing on the Left side. You should see an increase in 2-3 days.
My LO has a preference to my right one. So the pumping output on my left had always been low. I think it is quiet normal

two things I have found that worked is : to pump that breast right after she eats and pump once in the middle of the night for 1-3 days (bec my lo no longer needs the mid-night snack)!
I saw improvements after these two things!

Agree with PP. Could he prefer one side? Could you be getting AF? Trying eating oatmeal too.

yes, it was a sudden drop. i usually would get 4 oz of milk on my first pumping session (9 am) even if last nursing was at 7 am. Today i only got 2.5oz.

i would definitely try pumping after nursing.

LC consultant said I could be ovulating or getting AF. I think I stressed over my supply dipping so much, AF stopped. Exactly a month later, I started AF. My supply dropped again, but is better now.
