    Default Pump wearing out?

For the last two or three days, I've been unable to have an effective letdown at work while pumping (or at least as effective as it's been in the past). My DD didn't eat much this morning, and I was feeling particularly full just now before pumping, but didn't get as much milk as I feel I should have and I had to squeeze my breasts to get what I did.. and I didn't feel the sensation I feel during letdown. Come to think of it... when DD feeds it has been taking longer to feel letdown. Not sure what's going on but I'm wondering if it's something regarding the pump.

I have an Avent Isis manual pump, and the suction feels the same but I'm wondering if these parts can wear out.

    Thanks for your thoughts,
    Tina

    Tina,

I've seen some posts about the Avent Isis that recommend re-boiling the boilable parts periodically. I've noticed that on mine the comfort suction part (that part that goes on the horn) isn't fitting as well as it used to. I will probably boil it this weekend.

I hope that helps a bit! Good luck,
