    Arrow Sore

hello ladies, i had a quick question. MY ds and i have had a smooth BFing ride for a while now. I was just wondering, is it normal or expected from time to time to have sore nipples. My left was in pain from my problems in the beginning of my BFing attempts but has since healed up. But now both are a bit on the sore side, not pain just sore. Any ideas on why, could it be a not so good latch or something else. Just wondering if it's normal or something to look into. Thanx

    here a link about thrush...
that can be one cause of sore nipples
sometimes when baby gets lazy you'll have sore nipples
when they are teething sometimes they hurt and their latch will suffer
or right before your cycle comes back, or monthly.

watch for any sign of fever you don't want an plugged duct or a breast infection

    heres somethings to try

I still get sore once in a while, but it's usually due to my girl clamping down too hard while nursing, or not unlatching her properly once in a while-for me, it usually goes away in a few days.

Hi Erika, do you feel the soreness all of the time or just when your DS is nursing? If it's just during nursing, it's probably a latch issue. Otherwise, perhaps it's thrush.
