i pump at least 1/2 the milk Haylee drinks in a day--she only nuses once in the am, and its so good for her, so she gets it instead of cow's milk most of the day!

Wow, thanks everybody I'm just going to discuss it with DF (he might not like the idea, but I'm pretty sure he'll just say "hey if you want to")

Well, DF said "it's your milk, it's your business." So I decided to try it. Unfortunately, all I got was a purple nipple and a drop of opaque syrup. I thought I still had some left but there's no milk at all, just a little sticky stuff. I only have a hand pump and I'm not up to trying to get my milk back with that. I really got excited about it too! Oh well. Maybe I'm just missing the baby thing...

i pump several times a day for while i am at work, on a very regular schedule with my pis, getting at least 4 oz total each time. But if i used a hand pump, i get little to nothing! not sure why that is. but i guess my point is that if it's tough for me when i have my regular supply, i can understand it being hard for you. maybe someone will have advice for you. i hope so, if it means a lot to you (and it sounds like it does)

If you wnat to do it it might take afew days of regular pumping to get it back. Don't give up if you've got your heart set on it.
