Re: What's your pumping output?
I have been pumping 3-4x/day since dd was 6 weeks old (she is now 9 months) my normal output is 2.5-4 oz @ each session. For the longest time I was convinced I had a supply problem, but then an LLL leader pointed out that id DD was satisfied after nursing and was going weight it probably wasn't a supply issue. I honestly figured that the amount I pumped would increase as she got older, but it hasn't and see it still satisfied after nursing when we are together. Although once she started solids it took off lots of pressure to pump more milk. But I am also very lucky in that my sister lives close by and she is nursing her dd who is only 7 weeks younger than mine and she has an oversupply so I have always been able to rely on her for extra ebm when I didn't have enough, in fact I am going to see her this weekend to restock my freezer supply of milk (the bags may say mother's milk is best, but DD thinks aunt's milk is great too!)
Also I intend to keep pumping until I quit BFing (which has no set date/age, only a goal of at least 3 years), I just haven't told my boss yet! (Of course I will probably go down to only 2x per day once she is 1 and down to once a day when she is 2)
