Default So sick I want to cry.

Me and Will are really sick, and I can barely stand up. What are some super easy things I can try and feed him?

do you have any fruit on hand? cheese? james really likes oatmeal (the real kind). if you both are congested, i would stay away from cows milk, it produces more mucous. hope you feel better!

aww, Im so sorry you're both sick!!! to you both!

Of course, if he's sick, he may not even have much of an appetite, and it really depends on what you both have on what he should eat. Like if its something with the sinuses, stay away from any dairy.

umm, without knowing what you both have, soup is always always good. Just throw some water in a pot with a couple boullion cubes and for a super easy one just throw in some noodles with some carrots, or some potatoes, and/or any veggies or even some small cubes of cut up chicken, or beans for protein.

you could also throw a couple potatoes in the oven for an hour and once soft just cover with anything you want....like put some beans on the stove and add some tomatoe sauce, chilli powder, paprika, grd cumin and you've got a simple bean chilli you can pour over some cut up potatoe for him.

hmm, hope these help, when all else fails, crackers, gold fish, toast, bagels and try to get some vit C in you both! I hope you get better soon!!

What kind of sick is it? Flu or Cold?

I offer mango because its high in vitamin C and other cold fighting properties. Also high in fiber.

I make real oatmeal, then thin it down with lots of pumped milk. Thats if he's really fussy.

When I was sick I had lots of chicken broth/chicken soup with bread or toast. It was all I could keep down.

I also would drink Emergen-C in water to keep my hydrated.

    Feel better soon.

I'm so sorry! How awful. Honestly, I would say this is when applesauce and jarred baby food comes in handy. My 2.5 yo still eats it sometimes. And snacks, like Veggie Booty or raisins depending on what he'll eat. Soup is also good!

Keep up your strength and rest.
