Default Latch problems with my 12 month old

Lately my 12 month old has been latching differently, and it's really painful. He even leaves teeth marks. I keep trying to change his position, but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

Are these teeth new to him? Or coming in further? It seems like every time she got new teeth, she had to figure out how to nurse without scraping them on the nipple. I would unlatch and relatch until he figures it out. I've heard of nursing upside down to keep the teeth from where the skin is injured, but I have to admit I've never tried it. I've just used Lansinoh and things healed over time.

Ck out this link from Kelly Mom. I remember those days all to well. Now that I am pregnant his teeth grate at me yet again. There are tips to help....

Not really biting, but scraping teeth or indentations
