    When you introduced solids, what food did you start with?

    Bananas I think, and homemade rice cereal. I just cooked some rice, ground it up finely with some purified water, poured it into ice cube trays and froze it. Instant servings of rice cereal! Just thaw, heat slightly and serve! I used to mix it with the bananas after serving them both plain at first.

    I started right around 6 months and began with bananas(watch for constipation) mixed with breastmilk, then avocado, then yams. I then went for homemade brown rice cereal, peaches, red lentils, homemade oatmeal cereal, etc.

    I just started two weeks ago at 5 1/2 months. I started with Rice Cereal and BM. Then went to Peas and Green Beans. She LOVES them. I have afeeling she will be a good eater!

    We started with mashed avocado, followed by mashed banana.
