    Default Latch question

This is probably a silly question....but when the baby latches, she is supposed to have as much of the underside of the areola as possible. Simple enough. But if I am using for example the cradle position...is the underside still the bottom of my nipple, or would it be the part that then is toward the baby's chin??? Would that then be considered the underside?

Basically you want more of the baby's chin and less of it's nose touching your breast. The jaw will squeeze the milk out from behind your nipple. You could be on all fours feeding your baby upside down, it still works the same way!

    Congrats on your LO!
