Just because your LO is ok with egg yolk does NOT mean they don't have an egg allergy.

We had given DS egg yolk omelet without any apparent reaction.

We gave him omelet with whole egg after he turned 12 mo and he threw up immediately. We've had him tested and his allergy test response to egg is very big.

Not trying to scare anyone - just educate and encourage people to be cautious when introducing foods. If your LO has food allergies it is VERY scary!
