Question When did you start cycling again

For moms nursing after 1 when did you start cycling again. I have not had a period since December of 2005 and I love it! Is there any risk or problems with this?

From what I've read, it's actually better for your body not to have the hormonal fluctuations.

Mine started back up at 12.5 months (and I was so not ready!)

Mine was back at 6 months in spite of bfing around the clock. Enjoy the break while it lasts!

18 months! I've had one spotty cycle and one regular one but they're not 28 days apart yet. More like 40. I only pump 1x day and nurse about 3x a night. I was reallllly enjoying their absence but I see I had a longer break than most of you.

15.5 months. At that point, I was nursing 2 to 3 times, and pumping once in a 24 hour period.

15 months. Around the time DD cut down to nursing 5 times during the day and only once at night.

Mine came back 4 days ago, two days before Colton's first birthday. Sooo not ready.

With Ian, he was 12.5 months, we had nightweaned, and I put on weight to start thinking about TTC.

Colton nurses frequently, but only for a minute or two each time. I read a few days ago that when nursing drops below a total of 80 minutes a day, one's period may return.

I wonder if pumping in lieu of nursing, to bump back up to 80+ minutes would stop it again. . .. If only I didn't not HATE pumping.
