Question How long does reflux tend to last?

Hi, My DS was diagnosed with acid reflux at 6 wks old. He is now 9 wks. He was prescribed Zantac. I was wondering how long any of your babies who had difficulty with reflux seemed to grow out of it? I've heard anywhere between 4 mos and a year....

My ds is a little over 5 mo and he still has acid reflux. We actually needed something stronger than Zantac. It took a good 2 weeks for the Prevacid to really start working.

It does vary a lot. Usually by the time they're able to sit-up the reflux will resolve but a lot of times that's not the case.
