    Default quick question

Hi, can you please confirm whether it is alright to mix thawed milk from different containers (pumping sessions) to make up amount needed for a feed?

    thanks

My midwife said it was fine to mix as long as they are at the same temp. (meaning not adding freshly pumped to a cold bottle from the fridge)

Actually you CAN add fresh to chilled. But, when adding fresh to frozen, it's best to chill first (so you won't thaw out the top layer of ebm).

As for the original question, yes you can mix milk from different pumping sessions for one feeding. Totally fine.
