Question Can I take an exportorant for my stuffy nose?

Hi! I've had this head cold for a week now. My nose is so stuffy! I hate to take any medications, but I can't take it anymore. I've done saline rinses, but doesn't help when I'm so clogged. Can I take an exportorant/cough suppressant, like Mucinex? My DD is 9 months and I'm still BFing several times a day.

Just looked it up and I should try a decongestant instead. Thanks for any info.
