Default Freezing and storing homemade baby food

I have another thread about making baby food that I found really helpful responses to. But, has anyone frozen homemade pears and/or apples? I read that there might be some browning that occurs. Also, I mixed some commercial oatmeal cereal with apples and DS usually never eats all that I make, is it okay to put the mixture back in the fridge and save for later? thanks.

I added a bit of lemon juice to the apple and it didn't brown on me.

I've made pears and apples and I didn't have any browning. I usually make the food and then freeze right away, so maybe that helps keep it from browning? As long as you haven't fed your baby from the container that the oatmeal and apples are in, then you can save it for later. I have even frozen food with rice cereal in it and it has been fine.
