    Default When do solids count?

I know that early on lo's get nutrition from BM and solids are just to experiment with. When do they start needing solids? Does that just depend on when you plan on weaning? Does my question make any sense?

sometime between a year and 3....
Depends on the kid, lots of kids that have food alleriges or sensitivites self regulate thier sold food intake because it bothers their tummies.
Nursing is great even for an older toddler. Kelly moms has a bunch of info on extended nursing.
    somebody giving you a hassle?

No, I was just wondering. We don't push solids and some times I wonder if we should be doing more. You know, the questions of a first time mom. She only eats off a spoon, so I know she is not ready for finger foods. And honestly, we don't give her solids every day. She is 10 months old now and still loves to nurse. But working full time and fighting supply issues makes it hard to provide all the time. But I think she is doing great.
