Unhappy I think it's coming to an end......

Lucas went to sleep tonight without nursing. We have been down to nursing 2X day for the past month and I have noticed that I have not felt a let-down for at least 2 wks. I had set 2 yrs as my goal but now, I'd be surprised if we make it another month (20 mos). Lucas will transition well; it's me who's not ready to wean.

You never know, he might hang on to that one feeding for a while yet! Not feeling a letdown does not mean that you aren't producing milk. I haven't felt letdown in some time but there is still some milk there (not much anymore with the pregnancy though ).

You just never know. I was down to even every few days with Thomas right after he turned 2 and I was newly pregant. Certainly did not have much milk or any at all. Well it was almost like Thomas wised up that weaning was right around the corner and now at 12 days until baby day he is still nursing, I never would have guessed....He only nurses to sleep and very occasionaly in the night or durring the day.
If you want it to continue you can continue to offer it to him, especially for comfort etc....Let us know how it goes
