    Does anyone give there baby hemp seed oil or flax seed oil for some added good fats and omega 3?

    Nope. I don't see the point since he's still bf and there's plenty of that good stuff in my breastmilk!

    i agree! with bf, it's maybe better the mum takes the supplements and let the goodness pass thro the bm rather than giving bb supplements at such a young age.

    I actually take them myself. The mother can be low in these, causing the baby to actually take all that you have (through your milk) and eventually, they can be low on them as well. Taking them can't hurt, as long as you buy a really good quality one, otherwise you might be wasting your money. I actually went through really bad PPD with my last two babies, and being low on these can be one cause. And apparently it takes more and more out of your system with each birth (and then nursing) Anyway, when I was in the process of building these up in my system, I did give dd a drop in her mouth a couple times of day. HTH!
