My DD is 15 months and it really depends on the day. If we're out of the house and doing stuff then she nurses 3-4 times a day probably, but if we're sitting around at home then I'd say it's more like 5-6 times a day. We cosleep so she's on the boob some at night too, but probably only really nursing once or so, the rest of the times is just for some quick comfort and then back to sleep

Brian will be 14 months next week, and he's nursing 3 times a day. There's a nice sleepy/ sometimes sleeping nurse after he initially wakes in the morning; another at naptime when he falls asleep nursing beside me on the bed; and then at bedtime when the "boobie juice" dopes him down to sleepy zone and into the crib.

He just seems too distracted at other times during the day to really be interested in nursing. I save the "big guns" (chuckles re my actual "small guns") fully charged with "ammo" for sleep induction!
