I thaw my frozen BM in the refrigerator rather than under warm water. The milk is only warmed under the faucet when it is ready to be used. It takes up to 3 days for all ice crystals to completely thaw out. Does this milk still fall under the "use within 24 hours or throw it away" rule? Or can this thawed milk stay refrigerated for a couple more days without going bad? I have never experienced the milk smelling or tasting bad.
