Default Difficulty getting letdown and milk supply

Can difficulty getting a letdown on one breast cause the milk supply in that breast to decrease?

I've noticed that I've been having a difficult time getting a letdown on my L breast, the side that also gets clogged every few weeks.

Have you tried the MARMET Technique?
    http://www.lactationinstitute.org/MANUALEX.html
It helped me when I was having delayed letdown (around 6 months).
I'm not sure if letdown is directly related to supply.....but I do know that I always had faster let down with my right side that produced double the milk than my left. Also dd preferred right side. Try putting in a call to your LC, she will be able to answer your question beter. Good luck

I had forgotten about the Marmot technique, thanks! It's just very strange that I've been having a harder time even with LO nursing. I'm not stressed, but will try to relax more...

    Letdown is related to supply.

Hi I've just started taking Fennel and it is helping with my let-down. It actually increases your let-down. Here's a link for you.
