    Default homemade vegie selections

I have recently started making my own baby food. Other than sweet potatoes, zuccini, and carrots, does anyone have suggestions for other vegetables and recipes?

Do you mean stuff that's good for mashing or blending?

    Squash
    Yam
Avacado (tecnically a fruit, but very nutritious)
    Carrots

    For more fingerfood-ish stuff...

    Steamed brocoli florettes
    Squashed cooked peas

    How old is the baby?

Thank you. My baby is almost seven months. When are banana chunks appropriate?

Frozen peas are no work for mom and great for teething babies! DS loved them when he was little but i think he od'd on them because he won't eat them any more. :-( Baby carrots are also a favorite arount here. I just steam them and mash them and nothing else is needed because they are naturally sweet.
