Thanks...well according to my dd1 I have to stop when sister gets teeth because she might bite me...

If she weans herself I am fine with it. We just stop bottles and formula and stuff by the first birthday. ^_~ I am big mean mom just ask my family...

    Cool

I bf dd1 for two weeks and just like you had no idea what I was doing, sick, no support other than dh..just a mess. I was not even going to try with ds and never regret it. I wanted to try with this one to help with the budget since I am a SAHM (have been since my ds was born) but there are days I regret bf. I am so tired of not sleeping in my bed. dd2 has reflux and laying her down in her bed after feeding is not a good idea even after getting the burp she will still wiggle in her cradle in pain and then spit up. So, for almost 8wks I have been sleeping in my recliner with her and I hate it.

Just a note that you don't HAVE to stop the breast at one year, that may be traditional in our society but that doesn't mean its a good thing to do. The benefits of breastfeeding for both you and baby continue for as long as you breastfeed, and many other cultures (and people here, too) breastfeed each child for years. I initially said that I would do it until a year only but the more I read the more I realized that is too soon. My plan is now for around two years per baby, but if he wants to wean sooner or later I'll take it as it comes.

So I just wanted to say great job with everything and to invite you to reconsider your plan to cutoff the breastmilk based on their birthday, not based on when you both are ready.
I'm proud to be first woman in my family to breastfeed!
    cloth diapering convert!
    Loving the homemade baby food!
