Default When to introduce other things besides breastmilk

    Hello Ladies,

I just wanted to confirm that my mother is insane. She keeps saying to offer my baby water and juice and soups..And all kind of crazy things even though he's barely going to be two months old. She insane right? But then, I do wonder, when am I supposed to introduce new things to him? When he's 6 months right. Thank you!

mom's are always full of fun input huh! Um, yeah 2 months is WAY too early! The AAP says 6 months. My ds is 5 1/2 and we just started cereal. In 2 weeks we will try some other yummy stuff! But I know all babies take solids at different times, but certainly not 2 months! You are doing fine mama, keep up the good work and when Mom adn anyone else has all kinds of crazy advice, perfect the smile and nod!
